There has been a change of soloists for the Christmas concert. Due to the illness of Liliya Gaysina, she will be replaced by soprano Erika Baikoff.
Galuppi: La Caduta di Adamo
The Venetian Baldassare Galuppi (1706–1785) was one of the most respected composers of his time, both in the field of operas and oratorios, and he was known throughout northern Europe during his lifetime. The inventive masterpiece Adam’s Fall, found in the Uppsala University library, will now finally be heard in Helsinki.
